WebArch Wiki

Here are some ideas for the WebArch.net header/logo.

Please let me know what colours and designs you prefer, and also any suggestions you have. I've been working with Adam's idea of the h-graph ... J-M suggested we turn it around, which gives it a more optimistic look ... I've tried a few different colours (Adam wanted orange and purple, so that's what I started with).

A few questions about the 3 company sites: Is it important that the 3 different companies/sites have an individual identity? I find it confusing to have 3 different names, sites and 'looks.' Has it ever been a problem with confusing customers? Would it be worthwhile to have a cohesive collection of logos with coordinated colours? Or are we going with keeping them separate?

AM - This is my favorite - i'd remove the first blue h-tile though ... and sit the orange txt directly against the purple of the other tiles - also j-m's idea of rotating the h-tiles about the x=y axis is a good one ... as on the bottom 3 mock-ups

I like the straight text best, but I think that the text is too small relative to the shapes -- this logo will be a lot smaller on the site and the text would be tiny...

Here is another idea... maybe we could use rotate and combine these curves to create some kind of fan. Although this is a very rough mockup I'll come up with something better later. J.M.

Some more stuff... Of course I think the triangles should be Adams' suggested mathematical curve, and again it's pretty rough... But the way this fans out seems more dynamic than the previous example. Note the gradient from dark to light and the movement from left to right and upwards. J.M.
